About Tomorrow

Of the 13 tracks, 9 are all mine. From the the get-out-of-my-way attitude of “Don’t You Know Who I Think I Am” to the emotional “You Saved Me”, an autobiographical song written for my husband for our wedding day; and the quiet sensitivity of “Tomorrow” about simple, everyday tasks and how special they are when shared with someone. Throw in “Hallelujah” – my all legal-like lyrical-adaptation approved version of Leonard Cohen’s classic; a semi-reggae version of “Let it Be” and a few other very special contributions from Diane Barnes, a spectacular Charlottetown producer-songwriter, and there you have it.

I want to sing to as many people as I can, wherever I can. I want to share this album and have as many people as possible hear it, and if you DO hear it, you’ll see why. The musical contributions on this record are simply astounding – in amongst the “expected” instruments, there is a 4 part horn section playing up to 6 different horns; a Carnegie Hall alumni playing a violin that will break your heart, and a gentleman from Nashville who, it seems, plays every stringed instrument known to country music.
