STILL CD Launch May 23, 2015
It’s coming! I’m so excited to announce the CD Launch is officially set for May 23 at Trinity United Church in Charlottetown, PE.
ADMISSION: Non-perishable food items for the food bank. And a smile.
There are going to be so many fantastic musicians involved in this and I can never thank them all enough. We’re going to have: the one and only PEI fiddler Richard Wood putting his magic touch on a few tunes; three-time ECMA Award winning vocalist for Rawlins Cross Joey Kitson on harmonica; incredibly talented piano men Johnny Ross and Sean Ferris on keys, Chris Corrigan on beautiful electric guitar, Deryl Gallant on upright bass – plucking and bowing that will shake your soul, Natalie Williams Calhoun on cello that’ll just make you cry, and Kirk White on drums – just the best drummer around! AND…. the Eliot River Grades 5 & 6 Honours Choir under the direction of their music teacher, Kim Mooney.
And the biggest thank you to Jon Matthews; he’ll be there playing a variety of instruments – he’s not only a talented musician, but he co-produced, engineered and mixed the album at his studio, The Sound Mill. Because of him, this record sounds so professional.
