Hey, late Happy New Year, all folks!

I’m not one for New Years’ resolutions, but I’m making one right here, right now – I’m going to do better in keeping this website up to date. Not that you’re just GASPING to know my every move, but I know that when I go look at a website and it hasn’t been updated in a while, I figure that (A) they’re no longer doing what they were doing, or (B) they don’t care… and (B) is the one I do NOT want you to think is happening. Well, of course, I don’t want you thinking (A) either but please know I do care – and appreciate each and every person who looks me up! It’s very gratifying and a little humbling to see how many people visit my website, and I have to get my act together and keep it up and keep you interested and informed about my shoes!!!

Speaking of which, at last count, it’s 238 pair. I know this because I had to count because I was a question for trivia for our company’s staff party! I love that! And I love my shoes. ALL OF THEM! I’m going to take some pics of them and show em to you!

And I’ve got another surprise… I GOT A DOG!

Meet Moe

It’s my Christmas baby!

I simply can’t believe how much I love this little creature and how little time it took for her to become the boss of me! For example; I’m going home at lunchtime today so I can take her for a walk because she didn’t do her ‘doody’ (get it?) last night or this morning. I certainly don’t want her pooping on the floor, but mostly, I don’t want her to feel bad about pooping on the floor!

She’s the sweetest little Shih Tzu God put on this planet, and He put her here for me! She’s 10 years old and still acts kinda nutty sometimes, just like me! Yes, she’s 10 – I knew I didn’t want a puppy – very cute, yes, but I know myself well enough to know I don’t have the patience to train a puppy along with working full time, performing, rehearsals and recording. This little girl – Moe is her name – is trained, sweet, pleasant, cute as button and follows me around like I wish my husband did! Now don’t get me wrong – my husband is AWESOME! He just doesn’t follow me around the house with his tongue hanging out… anymore. Here’s a shot of the two of them napping on the couch. I couldn’t resist!

The creatures I love most having a rest.

So…. I’M GOING TO NASHVILLE! For a pleasure trip – gotcha, didn’t I! I’m going with some folks to have some fun. I’d by lying if I said I didn’t wish it was for music, but I am going to try to get back on the open mic stage at the Bluebird, so send me some good vibes! On Monday, Feb. 20, I’ll be calling the Bluebird from 11am – noon. 25 people get on, and it’s the first 25 people through on the the phone, so I need all the good mojo I can get!

I’m blessed to say that everyone in my family is healthy and happy and I wish the same for all of you! Take good care, and we’ll chat soon!
