I had never done this song at a show until this one evening where I said I was throwing out the set list and asked the audience what they wanted to hear. They wanted Amazing Grace, so I had them sing it with me.
The next day, I got a note from someone who said they had a dream the night before that I was singing Amazing Grace to her father who had been gone for 5 years! I was so touched, I wanted to put it on the album.
